(con't) He had been prominent in the building and supply company for many years from when he came to the city about 25 years ago he was connected with the Campbell Coal Company, being employed in a responsible position in its building and construction department. In 1916 he left the nopanv to set up his own business, the deiarnette Supply Company,Inc.. at 1001 Boulevard. N. E. He was born in Eatonton and reared in Green county. He was a member of the Methodist church, a Mason and a Shriner. Coroner Paul Donehoo was notified and he indicated that au inquest probably will be held this morning.

Mr. DeJarnette is survived by his wife; five daughters. Mrs. Thornton Comer, Tuscaloosa, Ala. ; Mrs. Harry Hines. Athens; Mrs. Harvey Hallum, Atlanta; Mrs. Mary Kelton Bolton and Miss Katherine DeJarnette, of Memphis; one son. John T. DeJarnette. Jr.; three sisters. Mrs. Felton Williams. Atlanta : Mrs. T. R. Griffin, Carrollton, and Miss Mary DeJarnette. of Toccoa, and two brothers, L. B. and T. F. deJarnette, both of Atlanta. The latter is vice president of the Henry Grady Hotel Company and manager of the Henry Grady hale].
