They were the parents of the THOMAS STEVENS who married SARAH PLACE in Boston in 1696 and research indicates that the elder THOMAS STEVENS and ERASMUS STEVENS of Boston were brothers or other kinsmen who may have originated in Maine.

Thomas was born about 1669 in Massachusetts. Thomas married Sarah Place on 13 July 1695 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay.^[1]
