Biography

Mary Green was born in January 1645 in Charlestown, Middlesex County (later Boston), Massachusetts Bay Colony, as the daughter of William Green and Hannah Carter.^[1] In 1667 she married John Snow, son of Richard Snow and Avis (Annie) Barrat Snow, emigrants from England via Barbados.

John and Mary Snow settled in Woburn, MA and raised a family of seven children as follows:^[2]

2. Zerubbabel SNOW b: 14 May 1672 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts
3. Timothy SNOW b: 16 Feb 1674/1675 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts
4. Hannah SNOW b: 6 Jun 1677 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts
5. Mary SNOW b: 4 Aug 1680 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts
6. Ebenezer SNOW b: 6 Oct 1682 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts
7. Nathaniel SNOW b: 17 Nov 1684 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts

The last mention of Mary Green Snow is in Woburn MA in 1686. She died after that date but she is not listed in the death records of Woburn so perhaps she lived with one of her children in another village near Boston. As she is not listed in her husband's November 1706 Will, it can be assumed she pre-deceased him.^[3]
