Andrew Abel was born on 16 August 1796, in Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut, to parents John J. Abell and Sarah Curtis, . ^[1]

Andrew joined the continental army. ^[2]

He died on 20 September 1814, in Connecticut, United States, at the age of 18,^[3] and was buried in East Street Cemetery, Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States^[1]
