Biography
David was born in 1869. David Swaringen .
David was the son of James Wilson Swaringen and the former Mary J. Sehorn.[1] He was raised in Cabarrus County but later relocated to Mecklenburg County, NC. On November 21, 1889 he married Ada Janette Stilwell in Mecklenburg County.[2]
David and Ada had 9 children:
- Gilmer Wilson (1891-1909)
- Clarence Stevenson (1893-1981)
- Elsie Mae (1894-1979)
- Samuel McKee (1896-1975)
- Charles Edward (1898-1983)
- Jefferson Davis (1902-1974)
- Ruth Catherine (1905-1996)
- Mary Ellen (1908-2008)
- Mattie Lucile Swaringen (1911-1994)[3]
David died at the Cabarrus Nursing Home at age 83 of a form of Arteriosclerosis.[1]
