Biography

Francis Hutchinson immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Note: Mayflower Families (Allerton) Vol. 17 p. 14 states that the name of his father's given name was unknown and that his mother's name was known as only "Ann." From p. 14: "Son of -------- and Ann (-----) Hutchinson."

"From Isaac Allerton of the MF...4 Gens: On 1 Mar 1665/6 When Francis Hutchinson was deposed, he was 36 years old."

The will of Francis Hutchinson of Reading dated 18 Feb 1698, proved 7 Dec 1702, names wife Martha; sons Francis, Thomas and John. The eldest son “not yet of age 21 years” was named executor. The inventory states that Francis Hutchinson died 12 Nov. 1702."^[1]
