I'm sorry, but this info doesn't fit with John Sotheron as described in Wikipedia article, referenced above. While our John Sotheron and descendants have stayed true to their roots in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, Yorkshire, England, Wikipedia states: the Sotheron family were Lords of the Manor in Great Mitton, Lancashire, for centuries. Facts don't add up.

It looks like these sources were added in the middle of merging two duplicate profiles (with no sources). It obviously isn't for this John Sothern as the wikipedia article states his father was Thomas and this John's father is Robert. Dates also don't match. I'll update the profile to remove them.

If you have any sources that you can add or recommend to improve this profile, it would be greatly appreciated.
