Sally was born about 1782 (based on marriage date of 1803). She was the daughter of Zedikiah Candler and Anna Moorman.

• Records indicate that Sally Candler, daughter of Zedekiah Candler, married Grief Wright about May 16, 1803 in Bedford County, Virginia. Surety was given by William Crowder.^[1][2]
• It appears that the marriage may have been ended or did not took place as Sally Candler married Thomas Holland on 25 Sep 1806 in Franklin County, Virginia. Surety was given by Zedekiah Candler.^[3]
• Grief married a Nancy Unknown before 1812, and then appears to have married a Hanna/Leanna (Martin) Hanes^[4] on 20 Sep 1841 in Montgomery County, Virginia.^[5][6]
