Biography

Thomas Damon or Daman was born in Reading on 31 Jan 1658, the son of Thomas Damon.^[1]

He married at Reading on 15 May 1683 Lucian/Lusian Emerson/Emmerson.^[2]

Thomas and his wife were the parents of thirteen children.

He died there on 20 Oct 1723.^[3]

Thomas' son Joseph was the administrator on his estate. At the time the estate was probated. the other surviving sons were Ebenezer, Thomas (age 21), Edward (17), and John (15). His surviving daughters were Lucy, wife of Kendall Boutwell; Elizabeth, wife of Benjamin Geary; Susan, wife of Nathaniel Townsend; Mehitable, wife of Nathaniel Cowdry; Mary; and Abigail (12). His widow, "Luce Anne Dammon" was appointed guardian of Abigail, and Thomas Poole was appointed guardian of John.^[4]

Following the widow's death there was a final settlement which showed that Mary had married John Holden, and Abigail had married a Thompson.^[5]
