Biography

Sealed Landers was born June 20, 1752, the son of Sealed Landers and Thankful Handy, of Sandwich, Massachusetts[1] [2] [3].

In 1761, his family were on the first ship of settlers in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia[4] [5] [6] [3]

On January 10, 1776, he married Mary Pitman, daughter of Joseph Pitman and Abigail Saunders, who were also Yarmouth settlers[3], and their children included:

  1. Sarah, born September 6, 1776, who married Ebenezer Haley 2nd[3]
  2. Sealed, born Feb 25, 1778, who married Elizabeth Rogers, daughter of Cornelius[3]

Sealed Landers 2nd died November 11, 1777[3]
