MRS: JOHN BUSH. A correspondent makes reference to Mrs John Bush, of 'Bush Grove,' Dalton (mother of Mr Edward Bush, Eureka,) who passed away a short time ago, at the advanced age of 92. She was born at Norfolk, England, and came to Australia at the age of nine, coming with her parents to Goulburn, and residing for years in the Argyle district. For the past 72 years she had lived on the Jerrawa Creek, respected and esteemed by all who knew her. Her husband predeceased her by about ten years. Mrs Bush left a family of seven sons and seven daughters. There are 315 living descendants, including 105 grandchildren, 190 great grandchildren, and six great great grand-children. Nineteen of the grandsons of the deceased have been on service abroad with the A.I.F., four of the number having made the supreme sacrifice. Mrs Bush's sister, the late Mrs Carter, died at Dalton some two and a half years ago at the age of 97.5 years ago. Two sons and five of the daughters reside in the neighbourhood of Dalton as well as a large number of other relatives.
