Jeremiah Colburn and his son Jeremiah Colburn, Jr., were shown as first settlers between 1760 and 1781,[2] but were gone by 1781.[3]
Jeremiah's children[1] were said to have all removed together in 1761 from Dunstable to the eastern side of the Kennebec River to what was later called "Coburntown" in Gardiner, Maine.[4]

Research notes
His Findagrave Memorial suggests he may have died in 1787 in Kennebec County Maine, but there is no gravestone found or any sources given. Further proof is needed.[7]
