Biography

Henry wrote his will 29 June 1764. In it he appointed his son Israel his sole executor and willed him his only slave, a woman named Pace, to use to pay any remaining debts. His well beloved wife, Mehitable, received 1/3 of his moveable estate. Also named are sons Ebenezer, Henry Jr., Judah, daughters Mehitable Deming and Mary Mason, granddaughter Elizabeth Brainerd whos mother had already received her portion in her lifetime. Witnesses were Thomas Smith, Bezaleel Gates and Daniel Brainerd. The date of Probate isn't shown.^[1]
