Biography
Sarah, daughter of John, late parson of Croft, was born on 20 March and baptised on 25 March 1609 in Croft, Leicestershire, England.[1] Two entries above is her father's burial, date 11 March 1609.
Sarah first married at the age of 19, Benjamin Childe, on 27 November 1628 in Cotesbach, Leicestershire, England.[2]
She later married as third wife to John Bradshaw of Darcy Lever[3]: widow of Benjamin Childe of Cotsbache, co Leicester, clerk. Her daughter Elizabeth married John's son & heir James Bradshaw.
Sarah was buried in St Peter's Bolton[4] 23 Mar 1683/4: Mrs Sarah Bradshaw of Darcy-Lever, widow, intra eclesiam
