Biography

Various Ancestral File submissions have claimed that a Samuel Bullen was born in Redgrave, Suffolk around 1591, married there around 1615, and fathered Samuel Bullen, immigrant to Massachusetts Bay, there in 1619. No supporting evidence for any of that has yet been found in English church, civil, or probate records. Samuel Bullen married in Massachusetts Bay Mary Morse, who came there with her family from Redgrave, Suffolk; that no doubt accounts for the otherwise unsupported supposition that Samuel also came from there and that the subject of this profile was his father.
