Jonathan Farsee/Foresee/Ffarshee/Fparsee, son of James & Hannah (Lester), was born in Groton, New London, Connecticut, on May 14, 1720. [1]
Jonathan, m. Deborah Ba[i]ley, May 10, 1743, in Groton[1] Deborah died June 23, 1761[1]
Death: Many Ancestry trees have a death date of Dec 13, 1801. According to Find a Grave (no photo, no source listed) there is a Jonathan Forsyth buried at Pine Street East Cemetery, Newport, Sullivan County, New Hampshire, USA. This Jonathan died Dec. 13, 1801, in his 89th year. 1801-88=1713. This same information was found in Colonial Gravestone Inscriptions in the State of New Hampshire [database on-line]. Pine Street East, Newport, New Hampshire. Book compiled from the collections of the Nat. Soc. of Colonial Dames. Orig. publ. 1974. There are no other Forsyths buried there.
The Ancestry trees say he died variously, Groton, Conn.; Newtown, Conn.; Scotland, Conn.; Geneva, Ontario, New York; Genesee County, Michigan; none mention New Hampshire.
This date does not belong to any of these places, and is probably not this Jonathan either.
