Biography

Richard Lumley was a member of the aristocracy in England.

Richard George Lumley, 9th Earl of Scarbrough (1813-1884) was the son of Frederick Lumley-Savile and Charlotte Mary Beresford. He married Frederica Mary Adeliza Drummond, daughter of Andrew Robert Drummond and Lady Elizabeth Frederica Manners, on 8 October 1846.

He succeeded to the title of 9th Earl of Scarbrough [E., 1690] on 29 October 1856.

He died on 5 December 1884 at age 71.
