Biography

  • Edward was baptised on 1 March 1590 at Tawstock, Devon, England.[1] He was the son of William Bourchier, 3rd Earl of Bath and the Lady Elizabeth Russell.[1]
  • Edward was married twice, firstly on the 14th of July 1623, to Dorothy St. John, daughter of Dorothy Reade and Oliver St. John, 3rd Baron Saint John of Bletso.[1] After Dorothy's death in 1632, he married Ann Lovett, daughter of Sir Robert Lovett and Anne Saunders in 1633.[1]
  • Edward died at Tawstock, Devon, England, on the 2nd of March 1637, at the age of 45.[1]
