Research Notes
Eleanor's brother, Edmund de Ros, died in 1509, at Enfield, in Middlesex, and was buried in the parish church. Having died without issue, his sisters became his co-heirs and were entitled to inherit the barony of Ros. As Eleanor's sisters, Isabel, wife of Thomas Grey, and Margaret, who allegedly died unmarried, the Ros estate was inherited through the Manners's Line, following Eleanor's marriage to Robert Manners.[7]
