Biography
Agnes d'Aquitaine (Agnes of Aquitaine) (later known in Castille as "Inés") was the daughter of Guillaume de Poitou, duc d'Aquitaine ("William VIII, the Duke of Aquitaine"). Agnes was betrothed to King Alfonso VI, Rey de Castilla y León in 1069 and they married in late 1073 or early 1074. They had no children and the marriage was repudiated in 1077. Agnes died the following year. [1] [2] [3]
