Birth
Clemence Hosmer was born 1691 the daughter of Stephen Hosmer and Hannah Bushnell .[1]
Marriage
Clemence married Nehemiah Olmsted on 7 July 1711 at Hartford, Connecticut[2] They had nine children:
- Samuel Olmsted
- Clemence Olmsted
- Dorothy Olmsted
- Rebecca Olmsted
- Ruth Olmsted
- Nehemiah Olmsted
- Moses Olmsted
- Esther Olmsted
- Martha Olmsted
Death
Clemence (Hosmer) Olmstead died in East Hartford, Connecticut on 7 September 1755.
She is interred at Center Cemetery, East Hartford, Connecticut[3]
Note
Three Hosmer sisters married three Olmsted brothers in East Hartford. Clemence married Nehemiah Olmsted. Mary married Nicholas Olmsted. Deborah married Richard Olmsted.
