Biography

Margaret Egerton was born in about 1480.

She was the daughter of Philip Egerton and his wife, Jane Smith.^[1]

Margaret married Hugh Starkey of Oulton, esq.^[2] about 1496,

Margaret and Hugh were the parents of:

1. Elizabeth Starkey, in her mother's will;^[2]
2. Alice Starkey, married Legh, in her mother's will;^[2]
3. Hugh Starkey, in his mother's will;^[2]
4. Emme Starkey, in her mother's will;^[2]
