Biography

Rowland was born in 1745^[1] He is the son of Roland Thatcher and Abigail Crocker. [Spelling of his name is with a "W" to be consistent with spelling in his will as well as on his tombstone.]

Rowland Thatcher married Elizabeth Nye on 28 Jan 1773 in Wareham, Mass. Ceremony preformed by his father Rev Roland Thatcher ^[2]

He wrote his Will on 22 June 1812 ^[3] and ^[4]The Will went into Probate 6 April 1813. He mentions his son Stephen, daughter Naby Briggs (Abigail), granddaughter Lucy T Thatcher, grandson, Rowland G Thatcher. Son Stephen to be the executor of his Will.
