What is the source for the 1642 marriage date and place? Torrey only shows a marriage by 1649, but I didn't look at his sources.

Edited to add: 1645 was the year that he was made a freeman in Massachusetts Bay Colony, which seems to have been one of the first records of him in New England. That was also the year that his daughter was baptized. Either of those incidents is likely what Fitby was recognizing as having occurred in 1645 - not necessarily that he immigrated then.

I would love to find the Y-DNA signature for Edward's line. If anyone is a male Wyatt direct descendant of his, please contact me. My ancestor John Wyatt (abt.1675-1747) was also in Massachusetts, and I've always wondered if there was any relation to the Dorchester Wyatts.
