It said that she is the daughter of "John Hamilton of Orbiston" and it was 'suggested in Clan MacFarlane that she might be of the generation that would assign her as a daughter John Hamilton and Margaret Hamilton [1] The dates, such as they are, seem to preclude this but the dates are not very solid.
