Justin was born 29 Dec 1790. Justin Skinner was the son of Stephen Skinner & Mary Chamberlain He passed away13 Oct 1863.

Justin was born in 1790 in Colchester, CT. His family moved to Chenango County, NY (possibly where he married) and where his children were born. After his wife, Alma Norton, passed away in 1832, he took his family to Darke County, Ohio where he had purchased the original patent on a half section of land. A few years later he divided the 320 acres into four 80 acre parcels and gave one to each of the 4 children that were surviving at that time. He passed away in 1863.
