Biography
Burkett was born in 1775. He passed away in 1814. [1]
Burkett married Sarah Carlton. He was the Clerk of Superior Court in Greene County, Georgia.
The family later moved to Morgan County, Georgia.
Burkett appears to be there in 1820 [2], but died there before the marriage of Archibald Atkinson and Martha Dean (his granddaughter) in 1824.
He had a brother named Henry who never married.[3]
