Biography

Abel Fletcher, said to have been the son of James Fletcher, married first in Chesterfield in 1784, Phebe Hildreth, daughter of Jonathan Hildreth. [1] They married jan 18, 1784 and resided in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. [2]

He married second in 1796, Sally, daughter of Thomas WIllard. [1]

His third wife was Charlotte, daughter of Ephraim Hubbard. After the death of Abel, Charlotte remarried to Nathaniel Atherton in 1819. [1]

Abel's will was made July 10, 1816 and proved Jan 9, 18167. [1]
