GFB] I've had DNA proof that as a descendant of James Owen and Ann his wife, that Ann was a Bentley - I have no connection to the Gassaways who did not live in Goochland Co., VA where James and Ann were both born and lived - the Gassaway children were all born in Anne Arundel Co., MD - Nicholas and Elizabeth Hawkins Gassaway's daughter Ann married John Pierpont - NOT James Owen who is my ancestor - his wife Ann "Nancy" Bentley is my ancestress.
