Biography
Elam and Margaret Reed Campbell were married on April 5, 1827 in Lauderdale County, Alabama[1]. They moved Attala, Mississippi, where most of their children were born and raised[2]. About 1856 they moved to Arkansas. In 1860 there were in Darysaw, Jefferson County[3]. That area became part of Grant County. Elam married Caroline Winters in Lincoln County, AR in 1874 (indexed as Corblin Winters)[4]. Caroline and her children were in Elams household in Lincoln County in the 1880 census[5].
Elam and Margaret are buried in New Hope Cemetery, Crossroads, Grant County, AR[6].
