Leah married Robert L. Childress in Knox County, Tennessee on February 16, 1830.[1][2][3] The marriage was solemnized by Robert Tindell, J.P.[4][5][6]
Research Notes
The John H. (age 18), William (age 9), and Elizabeth (age 7) Childress living with James Cox and his wife Elizabeth in 1850[7] MAY be the children of Leah and Robert Childress. Various family trees on Ancestry have the death dates for Leah and Robert as June 1849, however, I have not found any records to back up that information. Boy-41 22:09, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
