"JOHN, Andover, prob. s. of Thomas of the same, m. 13 Sept. 1689, Eleanor Ballard, hav. lost former w. Susanna, on 12 Sept. 1683; and he d. 1741, aged 74."[1]

John Johnson, son of Thomas and Mary, was born 28 Feb 1667 [/8?], in Andover, Massachusetts.[2]

Marriages

Savage's suggestion that he had a wife Susannah who died 1683 has confused John, who sailed on the James, with this John.

(1) John married Elenor Ballard 13 Sep 1689 in Andover.[3] Elener wife of John died 21 Nov 1707 in Andover.[3]

(2)John married Mary Farnem 18 May 1708, in Andover.[3] Mary, w. John died May 17, 1723.[3]

(3) John married Anne Russ 24 Aug 1723 in Andover [3] Ann, widow of John, sr., died Dec. 31, 1743.[3]

Death

He died 26 May 1741, in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts, United States[4][3] Children John, Zebadiah and Tabatha survived him and came to an agreement regarding his estate.[5]
