Research Notes
Notes from external profile
Nathan first lived at Tacoma, Washington and then he and his wife, Elizabeth moved to San Diego, California. Catherine (Carrie) McGeorge visited Nathan in 1928 on her way back from Colorado where she had visited Putnam; spent the winter with Nathan, then took him to Sequim with her. But, he only lived a couple of months. He had been a gardener on a large estate in San Diego, so knew a great deal about plants, shrubs, etc. He was planning great things for Carrie's lawn and grounds, but death overtook him. Nathan J. was very musical and played the violin and also the banjo.
