N142Pauls Valley Daily Democrat Wednesday December 30, 1964 pg. 1 Death takes Mrs. Beddo Mrs. Dollie Mae Beddo, 71, a pioneer of Garvin county, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Welch, 326 North Pecan in Pauls Valley. She was born October 27,1893 in Oklahoma Indian Territory and had lived in Garvin county all her life. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Stufflebean Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Walter Brown of Pauls Valley will officiate. He will be assisted by Rev. Pail Jennings of Paulss Valley. Burial will be in the Antioch cemetery. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Stell Holt, Mrs. Dorothy Welch and Mrs. Kate Byrd, all of Pauls Valley, Mrs. Jeanette Jones of Purcell, Mrs. Clara Davis and Mrs. Opal Johnson of California, Mrs. Marie Rhodes of Dallas, Tx., six sons, A. J. and Burl Beddo, both of Norman; Warren and Ray Beddo, both of California; Travis Beddo of Pauls Valley and W. J. Beddo of Dallas, Tx; one sister Mrs. Sarah Davis of Pauls Valley, two brothers, Mat Malicote of Pauls Valley and Luther Malicote of California; 44 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren.Pauls Valley Daily Democrat Wednesday December 30, 1964 pg. 1 Death takes Mrs. Beddo All her children born in Antioch, OK. On the way home from the funeral of Effie Beddo, (Burl's first wife), a young woman from the neighborhood, Dolly May Malicoat, remarked, "Some ol" gal will get him for his insurance money."
