Benjamin was born in 1679. Benjamin Daily or Dailey married Mary Taylor. He passed away in 1753. [1]

On 11 July 1704, Benjamin and his brother Joseph were charged with abuse and contempt of royal authority. Benjamin was imprisoned, fined, and given 8 lashes. On 4 July 1704 he had been ordered to pay a debt to Joseph Latham. He sold ten acres ("the place called Chapaumiscock") in Providence to William Cranford on 3 June 1725. On 29 Nov 1729 he deeded land in Providence to Moses Bowdish.Scituate Land Records: 25 Jan 1738. "Nathaniel, Joseph and John Waterman, all of Providence, for 216 shillings current money transfers 8 acres + two poles of land on westerly side of Seven Mile line within purchase of Providence to Benjamin Daly of Scituate, husbandman."9 Jan 1744. "Thomas Angell of Scituate for 6 pounds current NE money, transfers 200 acres within original purchase of Providence on west side of Seven Mile line to Benjamin Daly of Scituate."10 Jan 1744. " Edward Fenner of Providence for 3 pounds 6 shillings current NE money transfers 12 acres om Scituate on the west side of the Seven Mile line to Benjamin Daly of Scituate."At the Dec 1747 Court of Common Pleas, Resolved Waterman of Smithfield sued Benjamin Dailey of Smithfield, husbandman, for 8 pounds.8.6. Benjamin Dailey is on the 1750 tax list for Gloucester.
