Biography

Polly Disbrow was born on October 31, 1760 in Westport, Fairfield, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Nathan Disbrow and Wait Scribner. ^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}

Polly Disbrow married Eleazer Calkins circa 1782. ^{[5] [6] [7]}

The 1810 Federal Census listed Polly (Females, 45 and older - 1) as living with probably her father-in-law Aaron and her husband Eleazer (Males, 45 and over - 2), either her son Samuel or Disbrow and her son Caleb (Males, 16 thru 25 - 2), her sons Eleazer and [Calkins-6540|Nathan D. Calkins] (Males, 10 thru 15 - 2), and his son David (Males, Under 10 - 1) in Poultney, Rutland, Vermont. ^[9]

Polly passed away on April 27, 1833 in Oakfield, Genesee, New York at age 74. She was buried in Reed Cemetery in Oakfield, Genesee, New York. ^{[10] [11] [12]}
