Biography

Isabel was born on 7th April 1881 and christened on 15 JAN 1882^[1][2]

She's on the 1891 census with her family in Edmondsley, aged 10.^[3]

Isabel married Coal Miner, John Mallaby during the second quarter of 1899 in the Chester le Street District. ^[4]

By the 1901 census 20 yr old Isabel is married to John Mallaby. They're living in Tinklers Row, Waldridge, just a couple of miles from Chester le Street; they also have a young daughter, Catherine, aged 0. Living with the family is Isabel's Father in Law, 84 yr old John Mallaby.^[5]

In the 1911 census, Isabel and her family are still living in Waldridge. There are now three young children at home. The census states that they have been married for 12 years.^[6]

Isabel died in 1933, her death was recorded in the Chester le Street District during the second quarter, she is listed as being 53 years old. ^[7] She was buried in Ropery Lane Cemetery in Chester le Street. ^[8]
