Birth date is an estimate only. She probably died in Mecklenburg Co., N.C. after the 1800 census. Named as Susannah Yarbrough in the will of her father, Benjamin [Thompson] in Bute Co., N.C. (originally Granville) in 1771. By 1754 the Thompsons and Yarbroughs had moved to Granville County, N.C., from which Bute County was created.
