Sir Patrick Barnewall of Fieldston, Gracedieu, and Turvey. On 7 October 1534 he was made serjeant-at-law and solicitor general, and on 1 October 1550, Master of the Rolls. By his marriage with Anne, eldest daughter of Richard Luttrell, of Luttrellstown, he left issue (with three daus., the eldest of whom became the wife of Sir Patrick Barnewall of Crickstown), a son and successor:
Sir Christopher Barnewall of Turvey who was high sheriff of the соunty Dublin in 1560; he married Marian, daughter of Patrick Sherle, of Shallon со, Meath, and sister and heiress of John Sherle. Sir Christopher built the present mansion at Turvey and dying in 1607 left issue.
