H. B. Bairfield Rites Held at Rials Creek

Following a lengthy illness, Mr. H. B. Bairfield died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Odie G. Thompson, Friday at 3:20 A.M.
Born in Choctaw, Ala., Mr. Bairfield who was 78 years of age, had been a resident of Simpson county for many years, until recently, when he moved to Monroe, La.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 2:30 P.M. at Rials Creek Methodist Church, by the Pastor Rev. Jim Smith, and Rev. J. E. Schoolar, Pastor D'Lo Baptist Church. Interment was in Rials Creek cemetery. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Bairfield is survived by his wife, Mrs. H. B. Bairfield, Monroe, La., 4 daughters & 4 sons:

2. Mrs. Harvey Ramsey, of Monroe,
3. Mrs. Marshall Williamson, of Mendenhall, and
4. Mrs. O. G. Thompson of D'Lo;
5. Dempsey,
6. Jack, and
7. J. H. Bairfield, all of D'Lo, and
8. Leslie Bairfield of Weathersby.
