William Roach came free to the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
William Roach was born in Cornwall, England, on 27 Oct 1823. He was the son of Thomas Roach and Mary A. Thomas.
He immigrated to the South Australian Colony on the Bussorah Merchant in 1848 with his parents and sibings and their extended families. [1][2][3]
William Roach died from consumption (tuberculosis) at Adelaide, South Australia, aged 36.[4][5] He was buried in the West Terrace Cemetery, Adelaide, South Australia with his wife Mary and three of their children, Sarah, William and Frances (Fanny).[6][7]
