Biography

Byron was born in 1860. He is the son of Charles Bradstreet and Mary Southard.

My grandmother Grace Blanchard is the illegitimate daughter of Byron Bradstreet and Carrie Clark, an unmarried 17 year old woman from Washington Maine. She was born in 1886 and at the age of four was adopted by Laura and Amasa Cummings who were related to the Clark family. I have done some research of the Bradstreets. As a youngster, Byron lived I. Liberty Maine with eight siblings on his fathers farm in Liberty Maine. Charles Bradstreet was at the time one of the richest farmers in town. His farm is in great condition and is located on Stickney Hill in Liberty. Byron was a school teacher and did marry. He lived with his,wife in Washington Maine but for some time did relocate to Lincoln Massachusetts. He returned to Washington Maine where he retired. his marriage produced one daughter. He is buried with his wife and daughter in a century in Washington Maine. I have done a lot of research on the Bradstrret family as far back as 1630. (Humphrey and Bridget Bradstreet) Most of his family resided in Row,ey Massachusetts and are buried in the graveyard there. Some of his grandparents (Aaorn and John Bradstreet lived in Liberty and are buried there as well)

Byron married Annie Slater on Feb 22, 1897 in Waltham, Massachusetts.^[1][2]
