Biography
He was the first pastor of the Stanwich Congregational Church, installed June 17, 1735, dismissed March 3, 1767.

- Will dated July 13, 1773
- Will proved Feb.21, 1775
- A gravestone erected within a few years at Stanwich gives the date of his death as 1779, and that the death of his wife Rachel as 1786.
Burial
- He was first buried at "Brush Plot at Stanwich" in Stamford, and the removed with others in 1907 to the Stanwich Church Cemetery.
