Biography
Lucinda Bell is a member of Clan Bell.
Lucinda A. Bell is the daughter of Rev. Thomas C. Bell and Adeline G. _____ Bell. She grew up in Henderson County, TN.
The 1880 US Census enumerates her as Single, living with brother William in Henderson Co, TN, age of 21. This doesn't tie to prior census of 1860 and 1870 which point to 1856 as birth year.
Lucinda (called Lula) married Beverly Perry Chumney sometime around 1887, since their first child was born in 1888. The couple had four children; one died in infancy in 1893.
Since we are missing the 1890 US Census, we don't know what the couple did or specifically where they lived.
Lucinda died October 23, 1898 at the age of 42. She is buried at Peace Chapel Cemetery, Decatur County, TN.[1]
