Biography

Jannetje/Jane Nevius was born on February 24, 1782, in Conewago, Pennsylvania, her father, Martynes/Martin Nevius and her mother, Ida Christopher Hoagland. She married Jacob Christoper Post in 1802 in New York. She died on March 30, 1858, in Fleming, New York and was buried in Sand Beach Cemetery, Fleming, Cayuga County, New York.
