In the 1790 Census of Rowan County, North Carolina, Samuel Dusenbery is listed with 2 males under the age of 16 yoa, 2 males over the age of 16 yoa, and 2 female.[2] Since his date of marriage to Leodicia Raunsval (Dossey Rounsavall) was 1790, the two males under 16 yoa had to be either his or her children or siblings. [3] Who the other female is is unknown. He was born about 1759 and Leodicia was born about 1768 so either one of them could have been married previously and brought children into the marriage.
