The Seatons of Greene, Tennessee are like fingerprints. Everybody has an opinion and they are all different. Many cite the family data collections which, for the most part, I consider a sharing of ignorance. It is easy to get off on the wrong line for this family. There are so many named the same, or similar, with close dobs but different parents. Their information has been mixed by other researchers to the point that it is almost impossible to decipher what is correct. I have tried to do so but encourage others to verify my info before using and advise if they find my info incorrect. GHW

Albertine Josephine "Josie" Seaton was born 29 Jul 1860 in Panola, Mississippi, USA to George Seaton and Lucinda Smart.^[1](I marked her birth as uncertian because: Find A Grave's Headstone shows 29 Jul 1860 however, the 1860 Census shows her as 6 years old.)^[2][3] She had eight brothers & sisters:
