I think that my 3rd g grandfather Capt William Wilson may be the same as the William Wilson, b Feb 1811. William Wilson (1811-abt.1873) I have William Wilson, b. abt 1811, County of Derry, Ireland, and d. 12 Dec 1873, Halton, Ontario, Canada. He had two wives with children by each: Wife #1: Margaret Miles, b. 18 Apr 1816, d. 20 Nov 1844 Children by Margaret: George, b. 1838; Jane, b. 1840; George, b. 1843 and R W, b. 1844 Wife #2: Jane Atkinson, b. 5 Apr 1829, m. 19 Mar 1847, and d. 16 Apr 1859 Children by Jane: Mary Jane, b. 1848; Thomas, b. 1849; Robert, b. 1852; and Margaret, b. 1857. There's enough info that is similar to question this, but William Wilson (1811-abt.1873) has no source data to confirm or deny the relationship.
