Biography
Isabel was the daughter of Nicholas Butler of Rawclffe.[1][2][3]
In about 1427/8 (6 Henry VI), when she was probably still a fairly young child, she married John Towneley.[1][3] They divorced before 22 March 1445, when a contract for her husband's second marriage, to Isabel Sherburne, was signed.[4][5]
