After many years of research, I find that Internet Hendee researchers are nearly evenly divided over whether the father of the above [Ensign] Richard Hendee born 1665 is Richard Hendee born 1611 or Richard Hendee born 1631. In both cases the Richard is shown as marrying Hannah Elderkin in 1661 but I have not been able to determine if the Richard born in 1631 was the son of the Richard born in 1611 or whether he was not actually the father of this [Ensign] Richard born 1665 at all. Any comments or suggestions???
